Introduction
The (ESS) Extraction Screening System is an effective sample preparation tool for analytical techniques such as HPLC, HPLC-MS, GC, SFC. Extraction runs are fast and up to 8 samplescan be loadedwith selectable extraction conditions for individual samples.
As a fast alternative to Soxhlet extractions, the ESS performs sample prep extractions without accumulating toxic chemical residues at pressures up to 680bar. Alternatively small quantities(5%) of ethanol/methanol can be used with co-solvents at lower pressures.
Selectable extraction vessel volumes of 10,25 or 50mLs provide screening at a variety of conditions. High concentrations of anlaytes can be extracted from the small vessel while trace levels can be extracted from the larger vessel volume.
Full control and acquisition of the system is achieved via the software.
