Introduction
The WaterSam – VacuPress lifting system can draw water from large depths. Coupled with the WaterSam Porti series or 312/316 models, it can lift water samples from depths of up to 30 m to the autosampler.
Water sample collection from depths up to 30 metres, can be achieved in several minutes. The vacusonde (13 or 30) can be used in wells and sewers with high vapour loads without concern for vapour ignition while sampling when using the Ex version.
Features
The sample is lifted into the autosampler measuring bowl in 2 stages. The first stage sucks up the sample to the vacupress sonde. The next stage, lifting the sample to the autosampler, is achieved by high pressure lift from the autosampler. The unused sample is allowed to fall back through the outlet, clearing the intake for the next sample draw. The intake line is also cleared with a compressed air purge, before the sample is drawn into the vacupress
