NEX DE VS EDXRF Spectrometer

NEX DE VS EDXRF Spectrometer

This analyser offers multi-position bulk analysis in addition to a large single position sample stage, with three analysis spot size
options – 1 mm, 3 mm and 10 mm – that are easily changeable by the system's automatic collimators. A high resolution camera and LED lighting system allows a sample's image to be recorded via the Windows software interface.

The powerful 60kV X-ray tube and Peltier cooled FAST SDD® Silicon Drift Detector deliver exceptional short-term repeatability and long-term reproducibility with excellent element peak resolution. This high voltage capability (60 kV), along with high emission current and multiple automated X-ray tube filters, provides a wide range of XRF applications versatility and low limits-of-detection (LOD).

XRF options: autosampler, helium and standardless FP Options include fundamental parameters, a variety of automatic sample
changers, sample spinner and helium purge for enhanced light element sensitivity.

NEX OL – Process Elemental Analyzer

NEX OL – Process Elemental Analyzer

The on-line system has been designed for industrial conditions with tool-less quick replacement of the optic window and processor protection from pipeline pressure pulsations. With special custom designed cabinets the system can be used in classified and non-classified zones of a process operation.

The Rigaku On-line XRF analyser has been applied to monitoring the QC on film and continuous sheet production. With surface treatments such as silicone coating or cleaning foil surfaces, the XRF analysis can be used to determine the coating thickness or the presence of chemical contamination.

Special flow cell assembly for fluids to ensure constant pressure.

NEX QC II

NEX QC II

This second generation model is a low cost entry level model that has been redesigned with upgraded optics and electronics, improved detector sensitivity and protection, redesigned touchscreen interface and better safety features. All fitted into a smaller lighter footprint.

Specifically designed for routine production quality control applications, the new model has replaced the PIN diode detector with a more sensitive silicon drift detector with a larger active area yielding better sensitivity by approx. 2 fold.  The detector window has also been improved with the new graphene membrane.

Instrument sample presentation has many options including single large area sample profiling, sample spinning or 5 or 6 sample auto-loader.

With the new high resolution touch display, data presentation is sharper and the better layout, can make for a faster data entry and retrieval. Added connectivity means data can be downloaded to a network or LIMS system.

Safety has been upgraded to include a stronger sample compartment door with dual locking mechanism and high visibility instrument operation

NEX QC+ QuantEZ

NEX QC+ QuantEZ

The shuttered 50kV X-ray tube and Peltier cooled Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) detector deliver exceptional short-term repeatability and long-term reproducibility with excellent element peak resolution. This high voltage capability (50 kV), along with multiple automated X-ray tube filters, provides a wide range of XRF applications versatility and low limits-of-detection (LOD).
Options include fundamental parameters, automatic sample changer, sample spinner and helium purge for enhanced light element sensitivity.

Silicone Drift Detector technology

A silicon drift detector (SDD) aff ords extremely high count rate capability with excellent spectral resolution. This enables NEX QC+ QuantEZ to deliver the highest precision analytical results in the shortest possible measurement times. The unique engineering feature of SDD is the transversal fi eld generated by a series of ring electrodes that forces charge carriers to “drift” to a small collection electrode. Current generation SDD detectors, with the fi eld eff ect transistor (FET) moved out of the radiation path, represent the state of the art in conventional EDXRF detector technology

NEX QCII+ XRF

NEX QCII+ XRF

The release of the new model QCII+ XRF brings better detection limits with lower stray light, faster shaping times and flatter baselines for better peak discernment.

The QCII+ XRF is well suited to more demanding Quality Control applications such as verification of product conformance to regulatory requirements, eg ASTM D4294, ISO13032, AWPA A9 and Pharmaceutical Specifications. Other applications where the improved detections limits make the QCII+ XRF ideal are light element applications (Na – Cl) such as cement production.

The added dimension to this model is due to the new optics kernel with the new graphene window, reconfigured optics and large area detector.

The QCII+ can be connected to a network or LIMS system for better transfering of results.

Safety includes key operation for on/off functions and a stronger sample compartment door with dual locking mechanism.
